Long Island Contractor Registry lists home improvement contractors with a currently valid license from Nassau County or Suffolk County, New York. The listings come from each county's Department of Consumer Affairs public license records.
What each listing includes
Every listing shows the county license number, the town where the contractor is based, the trades listed on the license, and the phone, email and website on file with the county. Nassau County records do not include license expiration dates or owner names. Suffolk County licenses that are about to expire are marked "Renewal due".
Verify before you hire
License status can change. Always confirm a contractor's license with the county that issued it, and ask for proof of insurance, before you sign a contract or pay a deposit.
Corrections and removal
If your business details are wrong or you want your listing removed, email [email protected] with your license number and the change you need.
